Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao have once again made it to Asia’s Top 10 Islands in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) Readers’ Choice Awards, reaffirming the Philippines’ standing as one of the region’s premier tropical destinations.
According to the US-based travel magazine, Boracay ranked 4th with a score of 90.54, Palawan placed 5th with 90.23, and Siargao ranked 7th with 85.49 points.
The annual survey gathered votes from more than 700,000 travelers worldwide.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) said the recognition highlights the Philippines’ strong international appeal and the dedication of tourism workers, local communities, and stakeholders to in promoting sustainable and world-class tourism.
Other destinations in this year’s Top 10 include Phú Quốc, Vietnam (1st); Langkawi, Malaysia (2nd); Koh Samui, Thailand (3rd); Bali, Indonesia (6th); Andaman Islands, India (8th); Phuket, Thailand (9th); and Phi Phi Islands, Thailand (10th).
In 2024, the Philippines also had four islands– Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, and Siargao — on the same list, the most among ASEAN countries. The country has likewise been consistently recognized by the World Travel Awards as Asia’s Leading Beach Destination and Leading Dive Destination.
